Troy Medinis grew up in Dallas Texas. In 2017 he graduated from Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts with a BFA in painting. In 2022 he received his MFA from Pratt in Brooklyn New York where he lives and works. He has attended residencies in New York, Michigan and Finland. His primary interest is our changing perception (past and present) and collective alienation from the night sky. How dose the dimming of the firmament which has driven human culture, science and religion since our beginning change who we are.
